All provisional bookings for wedding receptions will be held for 7 days from the dates of booking after which time bookings will automatically be released unless confirmation has been received by the hotel.

A non-refundable deposit of £150.00 is required with a letter of written confirmation to secure the booking. The deposit booking form/contract must be signed to secure the booking. A further payment of £150.00 is due 12 months before the date (or if the wedding is less than 12 months away, then the payment of £150.00 will be due 9 months before the event). The final balance is then due on the day of your wedding.

All costs may fluctuate according to inflation and The Rossborough is entitled to charge these inflated costs. Should the hotel bar/s be requested closed for the entire duration of the Reception or in the event of their being no evening buffet, room hire (or additional room hire costs may be incurred.

In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel your confirmed booking less than 48 hours prior to the event, you will automatically lose your deposit and you will be liable for a certain percentage of total costs. "Total Costs" refer to all room hire costs, all banqueting costs (charged at £25.00 p/person) and all accommodation costs. Cancellations must first be advised verbally to the hotel's General Manager and then followed immediately by written confirmation.

Approximately 6 weeks before reception date, it is advisable to meet with one of the hotel managers to discuss your final arrangements. Final numbers for all hotel functions must be confirmed 48 hours in advance and this will be the minimum number charged on the day.

All Banqueting charges should be settled in full on the day by cash, cheque or credit card. There will be an additional 3% handling charge for credit cards. All costs quoted are correct at time of going to print but are subject to inflation and increase by the hotel proprietors at any time.

Accommodation at The Rossborough Hotel is sold at anytime on a "first come basis" to all types of guests e.g. business, wedding or tourist. It is therefore advisable to make all bedroom reservations as early as possible. Accommodation is only guaranteed with a £20.00 non-refundable/non transferable deposit per room. Bedrooms may not be booked or "block booked" without deposits.

Any items related to the wedding party must be removed on the day or morning after the wedding reception, otherwise the hotel is not responsible for mislaid effects.
